The KD2016-SY has a high-resolution camera mounted above the 2000 × 1450 mm flatbed. Before each cut, the camera scans printed registration marks on the material, calculates the exact position and skew of the printed pattern, then warps the cut path in real time so the laser follows the printed contour — even if the sheet is laid down crooked. This is the standard workflow for printed fabric, printed cardboard, label sheets, embroidered patches, and contour-cut stickers where the printed image rarely lands square on the laser bed.
Can the KD2016-SY cut printed patterns without manual alignment?
Yes — that’s its main differentiator. Drop a printed sheet roughly onto the bed (no jig, no fixture), hit start, and the camera registers the print and aligns the cut automatically. In production, this cuts a 30-second-per-sheet alignment step down to roughly 3 seconds. The vision cutting area is 2000 × 1450 mm (78″ × 57″), which accommodates a full king-bed bedsheet panel, a 1.5 m printed banner segment, two A0 prints side-by-side, or a tiled embroidered-patch sheet of 200+ patches. For continuous fabric rolls longer than 1.45 m, a chain-feed conveyor add-on indexes the material section by section under the static camera.
