3 Main Series of KASU LASER Cutters



1. What kind of unloading tools do I need to move the machine to my factory? (3)
- 3-Ton Forklift


If your factory is on the 1st floor or not too high on the 2nd floor, you can just use a 3-Ton Forklift to unload the machine.
- Crane

If your factory is on the higher 2nd floor or above, you will need a special crane to help unload the goods.
For machines that cannot be unloaded directly by forklift, an industrial crane may be required for safe lifting and positioning. Select the crane capacity according to the machine weight, lifting height and site conditions. - Hand-pull forklift
When the machine enters the factory, you can directly use the hand-pull forklift to pull the laser machine together with the package to the right position, or, you can directly remove the package and push the laser to the place.Our laser machine is equipped with wheels. Once in position, you can fix the wheels and lower the machine feet.
2. How much factory space do I need to prepare for the machine installation? (5)

The above layout map is what we have prepared for a standard KD1816 (1800*1600mm effective working area) model euqipped with the active feeder. The minimum space for this model is 3*5=15sqm and an ideal space is 4*6=24sqm.
Besides our machine, the other space you need to calculate also includes:
1. the front space of your worker picking up the cut patterns and the pick-up table
2. the left and right sided space you must leave for the worker to go back and forth
3. the rack space your worker will need to lift the roll fabrics.So if you are purchasing other sized laser, you can calculate accordingly.
And the height of your roof should be more than 2.8 meters.
If your floor is lower, we also have a special designed short lightning structure design for you, which is 2.25 meters height in total. So a 2.3 meter height roof is a must.

Example 1:
Normal open lightning structure is 2.73 meters height.
Example 2:
All-round safe cover door up near 2.73 meters.
Example 3:
The short lightning structure is 2.25 meters height.
3. What electricity environment should I prepare? (4)
Machine LabelOur laser machine default is 220V Single-Phase power. And we will follow your national electricity standards to select 50HZ or 60HZ spare parts accordingly. If you have special requirements, please notify our engineers beforehand.
4mm² with 3 Cores electrical cableThe electricity consumption of our main laser machine is less than 1000W. But plus the water conditioner, exhausting fans and the air pumps, the whole consumption can exceed 3000W.
We recommend that you configure 4mm² with 3 Cores electrical cable to supply mains voltage electricity for each of your laser machine.
Grounded WiringIf your local electricity is 110V, please prepare a Voltage Regulator accordingly.
And your local electricity is 380V, your electrician will wire it up according to the actual wiring of your factory, so you don’t have to worry about it.
And all laser models need to be well Grounded.
Do I need to prepare plug adaptors?If your local plug type is different from China’s, Yes, we suggest you prepare the plug adaptors for the main power supply.

4. What parameters of the computer shall I prepare? (2)
- Computer Parameters
– Type: Desktop computer;
– CPU core number: quad core and above;
– CPU frequency: 2.8GHz or more;
– Memory: 8G or more (4G is not recommended);
– Hard disk: 250G or more;
– Network port: Gigabit Ethernet port;
– Operating system: Win10 system, but vision software need to be installed in D disk
– CPU recommended Intel i7 series, multi-process simultaneous processing speed is fast;
– Graphics card: 2G above independent graphics card is recommended, which is especially effective for graphics processing.
5. What other items should I prepare? (2)
10L Distilled WaterPlease also prepare 10L distilled water for the water chiller CW-5200.
Wi-FiPlease also get your computer connected to the internet for standby remote assistance you may need from us.
6. How should I place all the auxiliary parts around the laser? (3)
Layout DrawingWe have parpared this layout drawing of the auxiliary parts for your reference. But according to your actual factory space, it has some flexibility.

You can plug the water chiller and air pump into the sockets configured in our laser machines.
7. How to exhaust the smoke? (3)
Independent Exhausting FanThe production of laser is going to produce smoke, and you can choose to exhaust the smoke directly outside into the air or use an air purifier.
We configure each machine with one or two exhausting fans. And the air purifier is optional.
If you buy more than one set of laser machine, you can make a central exhausting system. The smoke exhaust effect is also good, and you can also save electricity.

Y ConnectionWhen you connect two ducts to one main duct, please note that you should use the Y connection method like this photo, not the T connection method. Y connection method can prevent the exhausting fan from overheating damage failure.
8. How do I feed the roll fabrics? (3)
Box HolderIf your fabric is not rolled, then even if you cut the rolled material, you don’t need a material feeding system.
You can prepare a box like this to hold the fabric, and our feeding laser machine has a special bending structure designed to let the fabric can be flat feeded to the cutting area.
Simple FeederIf your fabric is in roll, but if your cutting pattern size is relatively small, like just a few centimeters per piece, and it generally takes several minutes to cut like one meter fabric, and the worker definitely has time to go behind the laser machine from time to time to put the fabric down a little, then the simple feeding structure is perfectly adapted to your use.
Active FeederIf your fabric is in rolls and your cutting pattern size is also big, and if it takes just a dozen or dozens of seconds to cut 1 meter fabric, and the worker has to check the cut patterns and has absolutely no time to take care of the releasing of the back roll fabric, then an active feeder that can automatically sense and then automatically feed the fabric material is very suitable for you.
9. How do I pick up the cut pieces? (2)

One worker is suggested for each laser cutting machine for quality inspection and finishing of the cut pieces.
The way of picking up cut pieces varies from product to product and from model to model, so you can arrange it flexibly according to your situation.
